Having devoted 30 years to the oil and gas industry, Yusmadi brings with him a wealth of experience, insight, and professional expertise. Throughout his career with the PETRONAS Group, which included serving as General Counsel for PETRONAS’ LNG Business, General Counsel for Legal Compliance, and General Counsel of PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad, he gained broad exposure to the industry. His experience spans upstream and downstream operations, LNG trading and commercial arrangements, as well as international joint-venture projects. Earlier in his career, he also held senior legal roles within PETRONAS’ Upstream Business, supporting international ventures and complex cross-border projects. With a deep understanding of the business from a legal standpoint, he consistently develops robust and comprehensive contracts that align with strategic objectives. His cross-functional expertise spans upstream and downstream operations, LNG trading and agreements, corporate governance, legal compliance, and international legal advisory.
