Vantris Energy Berhad (“Vantris Energy” or “the Group”, formerly known as Sapura Energy Berhad) today announced the divestment of its 40 percent equity interest in L&T-Sapura Shipping Pvt. Ltd. (“LTSSPL”) which owns and operates the LTS3000 heavy-lift and pipelay vessel, to its joint-venture partner, Larsen & Toubro Limited (“L&T”), for a total consideration of approximately USD 30.5 million (“Proposed Disposal”). The amount consists of equity consideration and the full repayment of the outstanding shareholder’s loan and accrued interests owed to the Group.

Vantris Energy Berhad and its subsidiaries today announced its financial results for the second quarter ended 31 July 2025, highlighting a return to positive EBITDA. On 26th September, Vantris Energy also announced it has achieved its Restructuring Effective Date, a defining milestone in the Group’s restructuring journey.

Vantris Energy Berhad today announced the appointment of Adnan Zainol Abidin as its new Chairman, effective 1 October 2025. Adnan succeeds Shahin Farouque Jammal Ahmad, who will step down from his role on the same day. Shahin will continue to serve as a non-independent member of Vantris Energy’s Board of Directors.

Sapura Energy Berhad has officially changed its name to Vantris Energy Berhad, to reflect the cumulative effort the Company has made in its corporate transformation. This follows shareholder approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting held on 30 July 2025.
